What You Will Be Doing
Enthusiastic and motivated Radiographers are invited to join the busy Peninsula Health team as a full-time Grade 1 and Grade 2 Radiographers. We have a demonstrated commitment to early modality training, internal career progression and job stability. We actively promote radiographer Advance Practice, research opportunities and have the latest digital equipment. Grade 1 Radiographer vacancies available for General, Emergency Department, Theatre and Cath Lab positions
The Grade 2 Radiographer will actively take on a clinical leadership role with respect to junior staff and be available for participation in the rotating shift roster at all sites including FPSC and after hours on-call. All Radiographers are responsible for the conducting of diagnostic imaging examinations and producing images in line with the accepted policies/procedures and clinical practice guidelines of Peninsula Health
Grade 1 and 2 Radiographers are part of a wider multi-disciplinary Radiology team and will:
• Produce a high quality diagnostic Medical Imaging services as directed by the Operations Director in conjunction with modality supervisors.
• Manage and coordinate modality workflow and assist in quality and administrative requirements of the department.
• Assist and mentor other team members and clinical staff in the provision of all Medical Imaging services- keeping an up to date record of same.
• Active and demonstrable engagement in departmental education, research and continued professional development

What You Need
We anticipate you will:
• Have a Diploma /Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science
• Produce accurate written documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
• Confidently convey ideas and information in a clear and interesting way and listens to feedback.
• Be able to use common software applications and is competent across the Microsoft Office suite.
• Plan and prioritise to ensure outcomes are achieved.

*Please refer to salary circular for ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021 - 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
