Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist with experience in specimen dissection to join our team.
Duties of the role include performing routine histology procedures: cut-up, embedding, microtomy, staining, and associated tasks.
The requirements to be the successful candidate for this role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical Science or equivalent.
- Experience and knowledge of routine histology techniques
- Experience in specimen dissection preferred
- Willingness and capability to adhere to workflows, with efficiency and accuracy
- Willingness and capability to work and actively participate as part of the team
- Flexibility with hours and willingness to be on-call
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
