The Firm & The Role
Our client is a global elite with a leading health/medical negligence practice. This team acts for insurers (local and international), private hospitals, aged care homes, medical and health centres, ASX-listed companies, health practitioners.
Due to growth, this team is looking to recruit a talented health/medical negligence lawyer at the 1 to 4 year pae level. The role will see you working on:
- medical negligence litigation
- catastrophic claims
- public liability matters
- professional indemnity matters
- coronial inquests
- privacy disputes
- disciplinary proceedings involving health care professionals

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Around 1 to 4 years pae in the area of insurance law/professional indemnity law, advantageous would be experience in medical negligence matters
- Litigation, drafting and advisory skills
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal and client management skills
- Ability to work in a committed team
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm, energy and be a self-starter
