Event Logistics/Warehouse Co-ordinator

Funktionality, an award winning events and décorative hire styling company based in Marrickville, are currently seeking an Events Logistics/Warehouse Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.  This is a split role between 2 full time staff in logistics. We are looking for

• Highly organised individual with attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Proactive & taking initiative
• Basic computer skills, Email, Google Docs, Excel
• Assist in managing the day to day operations of the warehouse, including monitoring & tracking inventory. Keeping accurate records of all warehouse stock
• Booking crews and drivers for Events
• Booking crews for Warehouse prep & maintenance
• Supervising crew ensuring stock is prepped & loaded into vehicles with timely delivery & installation onsite
• Offering critical support to the event crew members to ensure seamless operations. This includes coordinating logistics, handling equipment, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Report to and support the Logistics Coordinator in their day-to-day duties, act as a point of contact in their absence, and support in coordinating and supervising crew on events and in the warehouse.
• Planning and allocating all vehicle movements
• Communicating with the events and internal team to ensure vehicle loads are ready on time.
• Communicating to drivers and event crew as team lead, ensuring everyone is briefed.
• Good communications skills with team and clients on site
• Annual stock take, updating Eventpro and ensuring mapping of warehouse items
• Training in Systems and Eventpro software will be provided
