The Medical Office Manager is responsible for providing high level, comprehensive executive business, secretarial and administrative support to the Medical Service in the Department of Neonatology, and specifically to the Head of Department (Medical). The role oversees and manages the medical administration team to ensure the efficient and effective running of administrative services within the department.

Selection Criteria * Previous experience in performing a range of management and administration tasks to support Executive and Senior Level Management.
- Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to exercise initiative and judgement to independently solve problems in a senior executive and/or clinical environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Health recruitment processes, with experience in the onboarding and training of new staff.
- Experience in the preparation and review of complex correspondence for submission to Facility and/or District Executive
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Experience with hospital billing procedures and demonstrated ability to interpret and present financial data
- Demonstrated high-level computer skills with proficiency in the use of Patient Management Systems and other standard Health Service applications
