Unique opportunity for an experienced Medical Officer to use and enhance their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
The Role:
In this role you will provide primary health care services to the people residing in the Immigration Detention Centre in our facility in Yongah Hill, Northam WA. The key responsibilities are:
- To assess, diagnose and treat clients in immigration detention at the General Practice level
- Provide advice and education to nurses and allied health professionals as necessary or as requested.
- Liaise with all parties involved in the medical management of clients in Immigration Detention.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records and compliance with professional standards.
Requirements:
- Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Primary Care experience is essential
- Superior clinical decision-making in a busy work environment
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current First Aid or BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
