This vacancy is for Permanent Full Time appointment, or Fixed Term Full Time with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.Position Profile: The Medical Contracts Officer directly reports to the Medical Contracts Team Lead and is responsible for providing a high degree of administrative support and assistance to the Medical Contracts team in relation to ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting, rostering, on-boarding, and providing customer service to the regional medical workforce teams across WACHS. The Medical Contracts Officer will assist in providing compliance support and advice to key stakeholders and supports the Contract Coordinators in governing the area-wide WACHS processes and procedures.This is a process driven role that requires a high level of attention to detail and strong administrative skills. An applied understanding of onboarding, compliance and contract processes and the ability to interpret qualifications, skills and experience of medical practitioners is highly desirable however not explicitly required for the role.Face to face training will be provided for all requirements of the role if a candidate does not hold previous Contracting experience.What we are looking for: The Medical Contracts Team are excited to seek a an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join and provide administrative support to the Medical Workforce Contracts team, located in WACHS Central Office. The successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team and is required to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. The Medical Contracts Officer will demonstrate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload, well-developed written and verbal communication skills and be highly confident in the use of Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
