The role:
- Handle initial prospect and existing client enquiries
- Conduct any prospect follow-up phone calls to obtain further information
- Working with our outsourced support team to:
- Prepare information for client meetings (fact find/review process)
- Prepare Risk Insurance quotations (using Xplan) and pre-assessments
- Provide research and assist Advisers with strategy development
- Follow up on the process of advice implementation to completion
- Managing the advice process for clients insurance/superannuation / non-super investment
- Processing New Business applications
- Liaising with clients and product providers (insurance/superfunds/platforms)
- Reviewing commission/fee for service statements to ensure accuracy
- Placing trades/switch, rebalancing accounts & reviewing transaction confirmations
- Prepare meeting notes, resulting in action items, and subsequent task completion
- Managing the client communication (marketing) process
- Maintaining client database using XPLAN
- Maintaining compliance requirements and documentation
Criteria:
- 2 years + experience within the financial planning sector in a similar role
- Experience in working with Xplan
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with insurance and superannuation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
- Excellent computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office, Spreadsheet (Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and operate on tight deadlines
- Have a can-do attitude
