Qualification Master Degree majoring in Physics from an Australia or New Zealand tertiary institution or a tertiary institution approved by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR)
Registration: Accredited Medical Physics Specialist: Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) Certification in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics or in Radiotherapy Equipment Commissioning and Quality Assurance (accredited position)
OR
Unaccredited Medical Physics Specialist: Registered on the ACPSEM TEAP scheme and has passed the written exam (unaccredited position)Selection Criteria * Experience in all aspects of radiation oncology medical physics

• Demonstrate ability to work independently with little supervision in all areas of Radiation Oncology physics.
• Demonstrate a track record in commissioning radiation oncology technology and implementing new treatment planning and delivery techniques.
• Demonstrate skills in experimental clinical work, data analysis or scientific computing, research and education
• Evidence of oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively both in a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently
• Expertise with our local clinical systems such as Truebeam, Aria, Eclipse, Oncentra, Brainlab Elements, ExacTrac, Gulmay, MIM and Velocity is favourable but not essential.
• Current valid NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel within and outside the Western Sydney Local Health District as required.
