Welcome - We are looking for a friendly, motivated, personable individual to join our practice as a Medical Receptionist.
This is a casual role, working between two to four days per week.
Operating hours are 8:30 to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Closed on Weekends and Public Holidays
We operate by appointment only and have a private-billing fee structure. Onsite pathology, parking onsite and short walk to amenities and other allied health services.
This is a Medical Receptionist position at front desk and primarily involves the following duties and responsibilities
- Greeting patients on arrival to the premises, including scheduled and unscheduled visitors, clients and employees
- Answering phone calls and actioning requests or booking appointments
- Managing email correspondence, both internal and external
- Scheduling appointments and overseeing calendars
- Accessing, modifying and storing business records and administrative documents
- Carrying out billing and invoicing of services
- Documenting client feedback
- Ensuring that the reception area is well presented and appropriately supplied with stationery and other materials
- Other administrative tasks as required, including filing, photocopying, scanning, transcribing, faxing, etc.
- Triage of phone calls and patients on site
- Experience is preferred but not compulsory
