Located in picturesque Yungaburra, The Doctor House Medical Centre is dedicated to providing the best quality medical support for all of our patients. We offer a comprehensive range of medical services to assist with any area of health for all ages including antenatal care, mental health, aviation medicine, preventative health, child health, acute conditions, chronic illness management, occupational health, skin checks and skin cancer surgery, employment medicals, diabetes, heart disease, travel medicine and immunisations and many more. Qualifications & experience
- The successful applicant must possess high levels of interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a fast paced environment. The candidate should demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm coupled with the ability to work independently with the aim to completing tasks within an allotted time frame
- The successful applicant will be fluent with computers and be able to quickly learn to use new operating software
- Previous experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Desirable qualifications include, Cert III Business (Medical Administration), First Aid certificate, CPR certificate
Tasks & responsibilities
- The candidate will be an integral part of our support team, responsible for the smooth running of the clinic's day to day operation. The successful applicant will perform a mix of administrative duties whilst being the front of line contact for visitors, patients, doctors, nurses and allied health.
- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic
- Answer and direct incoming calls, messages and correspondence
- Schedule and confirm appointments/meetings at requested times
- Patient demographic and clinical data entry
- Data cleansing and maintenance of accurate patient files
- Completing billing, invoicing and receipting on a daily basis including daily reconciliation of EFTPOS and cash taken
- Ensure Medicare documentation is compliant and up to date
