Medical Receptionist required for Specialist Practice – role across two locations Greenslopes and Grange.
This full-time role is for a busy Group Specialist Practice – would suit someone who enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience working for a GP Clinic or Allied Health Practice would suit this position. Hours are rostered between 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday . There is one rostered/rotated evening until 8pm on a Tuesday and shared amongst the team. This practice has street parking at both sites.
Medical Receptionist duties required in this position:
Providing exceptional and professional service to patient and all medical / health providers
Managing day to day clinics, booking patients appropriately, arriving patients, ensuring all relevant information is available for the appointment, billing patients and providing medical certificates
Communication to patients via email and other health and medical providers in a timely and professional manner
Managing and triaging referrals
Answering phones and assisting other staff with clinics when available
Medical Receptionist skills required:
Strong organisation and time management skills
Professional and outstanding communication and customer service skills
Experience with Medical software (Best Practice ideal)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Professional presentation
Ability to work as a team and autonomously
Previous experience in a General Practice would be of benefit in this position! However all medical administration experience will be considered.
This role can commence in December. The practice is closed between Christmas Eve and 3rd January 2023. A New Year start is also available if preferred.
Salary: $ 30+/hr plus Occupational Superannuation.
