Australian Family Care consists of 2 General Practices located in Kensington Park and Campbelltown. Our family practices are dedicated to delivering high-quality medical care to individuals and families and are committed to providing comprehensive health care services to our community.
This position is a casual role and you should be available to work Monday to Friday and some Saturdays with prior notice.
The successful applicant will require;
- A minimum 12 months experience in an administrative role
- Previous Medical Reception experience is preferred but not essential
- Good IT/computer skills - Familiarity with Best Practice software is desirable
- Initiative to work both independently and in a team
- Exceptional organisational, problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including pleasing and professional phone manner
- A “Can-do” and positive attitude with the ability to handle a high-pressure environment
- Honesty, reliability, integrity and empathy
- Ability to travel to both clinics as required by the practice
Main task and responsibilities include;
- Managing a busy medical reception, including booking patient appointments, scanning documents, faxing and emails and general front-line medical administrative services
- Processing payments accurately to prevent bad debts
- Assisting the various needs of doctors, employees, patients and visitors
- Records Management and data entry
- Managing patient enquiries and complaints in liaison with practice manager and/or practice owners.
Hours: Can be negotiated.
Remuneration: By negotiation.
