Medical Receptionist - Dermatology Practice

Position:Medical Receptionist

Location: Karrinyup Dermatology, 5 Cheddar Place, Karrinyup

Working Hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Position Type: Permanent, Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
• Issue patient invoices and receipts using EFTPOS
• Banking with preparation, documentation and reconciliation
• Verify patient information and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure a smooth patient flow.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare & DVA

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Genie software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• A friendly and compassionate attitude towards patients and colleagues.
