Due to a prmotion within, our client is on the look out for a new Medical Receptionist looking to make a move into a specialist area. This is an opportunity to work in a well established practice, dedicated to improving the eye health of our patients in a Receptionist role, with a view to also train in an Ophthalmic Assisting role at a later stage.
Our staff are integral to the day to day running of the clinic along with providing administration and clinical support to various areas of the practice.
Responsibilities will include;
- Reception/Administration duties
- Greeting and assisting patients
- Assisting with patient and doctor enquiries
- Responding to patients via telephone and email
- Billing appointments and testing undertaken
- Triaging incoming referrals and communication received electronically
- Ophthalmic Assisting
In this role you will interact with and assist our Ophthalmologists, support patient needs whilst working as part of a dynamic and diverse team.
Candidates with a scientific background or experience in an Optical setting are highly desirable.

- Competence in all aspects of office administration and computer skills

- Candidates living within a 25-30km radius of our locations will be highly desirable

This is a well established Ophthalmology practice supporting 3 consultants. The clinical and admin team come from a variety of backgrounds and share a passion for providing a friendly, efficient and caring service to meet the needs of patients.
This role is predominantly MOSMAN PARK based with occasional shifts at Karrinyup over the course of the 4 week roster.
