We are seeking experienced Medical Registered Nurses (RN) for a contract role in rural or remote Queensland for Multi-Purpose Health Service (MPHS) facilities. These facilities offer an amalgamation of services including acute hospital care, residential aged care, community health, home and community care and other health related services. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to provide quality healthcare services to the patients within facilities while following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Exceptional patient centred care.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Administer medications.Monitor clinical care plans.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Medical Nurse.
- NDIS Screening check preferred.
- AHPRA Registration is mandatory.
- Relevant certification and qualifications.
- Valid flu vaccination & immunisations.
- Rural or remote experience highly regarded.
- ED experience preferred (Triage/ALS competent)
- You have the ability to work across wards including general wards, ED and Aged Care.
