An opportunity has become available for a part time Medical Scientists at our Ballarat Laboratory.
About the role
Calling all University graduates looking for part time work or return to work mums & dads. This is an ideal opportunity to get in on the ground level of a dynamic team supporting the developing healthcare system. In this role you will conduct a range of diagnostic testing that requires the applications of scientific technical knowledge and skills, within the Ballarat Laboratory.
This position involves working in a fast paced environment and will be suitable for an individual who prides themselves on the level of accuracy in their work and has a strong customer focus. You will work as part of an experienced and dedicated team with exposure to a wide diversity of work.
The Ballarat laboratory operates 24/7 and the successful applicant will be expected to participate in outside business hours shifts and weekends. Applicants must be able to effectively liaise with Doctors, Nurses and Ancillary Staff from Doctor Surgeries and Hospitals.
To be considered for the role you will need to possess the following:
- A degree level qualification in Medical Science or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail and experience working in a fast paced environment
- An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
- Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team
