IMMEX is an occupational medical organisation which provides treatment and management of injured workers, pre-employment medical assessments, health surveillance, vaccination programs and health and wellbeing services.
We are one of Sydney's leading providers and have recently opened a new clinic at Rooty Hill in the West HQ complex.
We are seeking a competent screener/admin assistant initially on a part time basis for a few hours each weekday afternoon with the aim to gradually move to full time as the business continues to grow. You will be sharing both the administrative and nursing duties with another Medical Screener/Administrator who is already in place. Initially the focus of this role will be more on the administrative components.
Training will be provided at our Waterloo Clinic (near Green Square Station).
Our clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
This position will be required to perform the following clinical and administrative duties:
- Perform basic administrative/reception duties - respond to client enquiries, make appointments, print and scan medical correspondence and send reports to clients.
- Process pre-employment forms and review general health questionnaires.
- Gather biometric data, taking height, weight, visual testing, urinalysis.
- Conduct ECG's, spirometry, audiometry, alcohol breathalyser testing, urine drug testing as required.
- Assist in the treatment of injured workers
- Liaise with treating doctors and physiotherapists
- Attend to wound dressings.
- Clean, disinfect and sterilise medical instruments.
- Data entry into clinical software

ALL NECESSARY TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
However you must have some basic AIN or EN experience.
