Noah's Wine Bar is a Modern Mediterranean venue located on Collins Street, and we are after an experienced chef with Mediterranean cuisine experience over the breakfast & lunch period mid-week.
Trading hours: Open to the public
Mon- Tues - 7 am to 4 pm
Wed - Fri - 7 am to 8 pm
THE ROLE
Noah's is a modern Mediterranean restaurant and bar located in the eatery area of 530 Collins Street. The venue itself serves breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday and is open for afterwork drinks till late serving a bar/snack menu Wednesday to Friday nights. Our menu revolves around seasonal offerings, prioritizing consumer trends and tastes. We specialize in corporate catering and event hosting. Candidates with a creative drive and extensive experience are strongly preferred.
To be considered for the role you will need the following:
- Trade qualifications are a must
- Strong Mediterranean and breakfast knowledge is preferred
- Presentation, creativity and menu planning of the highest quality
- Effectively run, manage and drive a positive kitchen culture
- Experience in stock control, COGS, and labour costings
- Strong organisational skills with a high-performing work ethic and standards
- Communication with the kitchen staff, venue manager and front of house staff.
