ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking to appoint an experienced Hospitality Service worker (
Kitchen Hand) at our Kinross Care Centre. This role is offered on a permanent part time basis working 75 hours per fortnight.Week 1:Monday 0700-1500Tuesday 0700-1500Wednesday 0700-1500Thursday 0700-1500Friday 0700-1500Week 2:Monday 0700-1500Tuesday 0700-1500Wednesday 0700-1500Thursday 0700-1500Friday 0700-1500Please note, days/hours are not flexible - you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.
ABOUT YOUAs a
Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for preparing, plating and serving meals, and providing assistance in the kitchen (making salads, baking cookies and bread etc.).
Essential criteria:- Minimum 2 years' experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a Kitchen Hand in an aged care/hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines in accordance with routines and schedules
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and exemplary customer service focus
- Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Evidence of current Flu (2024) and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks
- Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
