The Opportunity:
- Support the AUS Managing Editor
- Work with the Managing Editor to build and manage content calendar and strategy
- Work with the Managing Editor to optimise content practices and processes
- Ideate, source news and produce daily content
- Oversee and ensure the development of great content, both written and visual, from conceptualisation to publication online and in print
- Spotlight the business and product with storylines that will captivate and pull in the target audience
- Manage content schedules and calendars for the brand
- Produce engaging short-form posts, long-form features and social captions
- Actively participate in social media, creating business/product marketing content relevant to the target audience
- Collaborate with writers and cross-functional teams (PR & Marketing department) to develop content strategies and creation standards & processes.

- Have an eye for detail and recognise the difference between great versus low-quality content!
- The ability to write, publish and edit content which leans into deeper storytelling
- Knowledge of digital publishing systems and social media
- Have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a desire to inspire junior editorial personnel, constantly improving the Studio’s content while enhancing the audience’s engagement
- Highly analytical and can evaluate both external and internal databases to ensure that the content is accurate, up to date, and in line with the business’s messages, values, and goals
- Have 4+ years experience working in a content editing role (agency or in-house) for lifestyle, sport, fashion and fitness brands
- Are confident across digital platforms, including; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram and proficient in Ms Office/Software, Final Cut, Avid, Premier, and Photoshop.
