Membership and Administrative Coordinator

Part-time - Monday to Wednesday - 9am - 5pm. Flexibility to work additional hours when required. 

About the role

We are on the search for a proactive and experienced customer service professional to enhance member engagement, support and experience for the Club's Members, while upholding the highest standard and quality of administrative and clerical work, in the role of Membership and Administrative Coordinator. Your proven ability to develop and maintain relationships will be pivotal in guaranteeing a positive and well-supported journey for our valued Members. Given the dynamic nature of the business, there is great potential for the successful candidate to personalise and develop the role in line with the Club's strategic plan. This role will work closely in an open and transparent manner with Management and Committees to provide seamless organisation and strong outcomes for the Club.

About the Queen Adelaide Club

Offering an exclusive CBD location and setting, the Queen Adelaide Club is located on North Terrace and was established in 1909. It is a private Members Club delivering a premier level of Member Services ranging from fine dining, hospitality, leisure activities and private Club facilities.

Key experience and attributes include:

  • Manage Membership applications, renewals and updates ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant policies and procedures. 
  • Support the development and growth of the Membership base- existing and new.
  • Ability to interpret and implement new initiatives to provide exceptional results.
  • Strong administrative skills and understanding of efficient processes to maintain productivity.
  • Ability to undertake various administrative tasks to a high standard.
  • Coordinate various projects and tasks at any one time.
  • The ability to meet various set deadlines.
  • High level of competence in using Microsoft suite, particularly Excel, as well as demonstrated experience in using various accounting software packages (Micropower desirable but not essential).
  • Outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and engage others.
  • Tenacity with a natural drive to ensure a healthy Club Membership in line with the Club's goals and values.
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders to represent the Club to a high standard at all times.

  • Strong understanding of the importance of efficient coordination and organisation required to execute tasks to a professional standard.
  • Self-driven team member with the ability to multi-task.
  • Have effective time management skills with the ability to meet firm deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Member focused with a desire to achieve exceptional Member outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to contribute to the success of the team.
  • Professional and polished presentation in all aspects e.g. personal communication, correspondence and personal presentation. 
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to achieving the Club goal's whilst working amongst a highly productive team.
