The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the Not-for-Profit national peak member organisation for professional mortgage and finance brokers, mortgage managers and aggregators. About the Role
In this role, you will lead and manage the Membership Experience team in the delivery of member products and services to amplify MFAA’s brand and foster growth and member engagement. You will be involved in strategically reshaping the value provided to members, evaluating, and innovating the existing membership journey, and processes, and making impactful changes to enhance the overall member experience and value proposition.
About the Person
You will have a passion for and experience in strategically leading and empowering a team in delivering membership products and services. You will be a result-driven professional and be able to understand the membership journey and value. You will possess strong project management skills, be solutions-focused, adaptable and a team player.
We are looking for an experienced and transformational people leader. Experience in membership, financial services and/or the mortgage broking industry is desirable but not essential.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead and empower a team to deliver value-driven member experience.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to review and innovate the membership journey, products, and services.
- Implement strategies and initiatives to drive member engagement and growth.
- Provide effective leadership to drive the performance and capabilities of the team.
- Build and maintain sustainable partnerships with members, staff, and stakeholders.
- Conduct research, reporting, and analysis of member insights.
- Manage the CRM, member system incidents and administrative duties as required.
- A strong understanding of or willingness to learn the Mortgage Broking industry and/ or financial services.
- Transformational leadership approach with experience managing and building team capabilities.
- A strong strategic thinker and passionate about improving member/ customer experience.
- Result-driven and excellent project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- People and solutions focused.
- A can-do attitude, adaptable and proactive.
- Highly collaborative, inclusive and a small business mentality.
