Netball SA is the peak State Sporting Organisation for netball in South Australia and is responsible for the success of its elite team, the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds are the reigning Suncorp Super Netball Premiers and in 2024 will play matches at their new home, the 9,000-seat capacity Adelaide Entertainment Centre. The Entertainment Centre will also host the 2024 Super Netball Grand Final!

About the Role:
Netball SA has an exciting opportunity for a customer/member focused individual who thrives in delivering a great customer experience to join our team. The Membership & Ticketing Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of the Adelaide Thunderbirds membership and ticketing program at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. You will report to General Manager - Commercial and work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to achieve growth and exciting customer outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Commercial department, this role will be responsible for driving Adelaide Thunderbirds membership and ticketing revenue and supporting membership and ticketing casual staff. In addition, the Membership & Ticketing Manager will be responsible for managing the membership and match day ticketing programs for the 7 x Adelaide Thunderbirds home games, as well as ensuring best practice quality of customer service to our members.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading the membership renewal program including building the product in the Ticketmaster membership platform,
- Assisting to develop membership pack fulfilment,
- Leading the creation and delivery of the Adelaide Thunderbirds Membership and Ticketing strategy and supporting advertising campaigns,
- Working collaboratively with the Marketing department to maximise brand exposure and develop a marketing plan and associated collateral to achieve targets,
- Create a growth strategy using data analysis of trends including churn,
- Regular sales reporting against revenue targets and KPIs,
- Coordinating ticketing inventory for Adelaide Thunderbirds games in conjunction with our ticketing agent Ticketek,
- Regular sales reporting against revenue targets and KPIs, and
- Deliver best practice customer service at Adelaide Thunderbirds home games.
About You:
You will have membership and ticketing experience in a similar position with demonstrated knowledge of Ticketek and Ticketmaster platforms, be customer focussed and be able to lead a team to drive outcomes. You will be highly motivated, focused and enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team.
