The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is in search of a passionate Ticketing and box office professional! This role is well suited to an experienced and collaborative ticketing manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Working as part of the Marketing Department, this position is an essential service internally and externally, leading the delivery of customer-facing booking channels, patron enquiries, venue liaison, outbound campaigns and annual season subscription packages.
This role is responsible for providing premium Customer Service to a strong loyal database cultivated over decades, as well as bringing innovative ideas and pricing models that can be leveraged to grow new audiences.
As the lead behind the Ticketing and box office function of the business, you’ll also be managing a team of all-star box office casuals with the following top-line key responsibilities:
- Lead and implement ticketing strategies that support the ASO’s strategic objectives with a view to growing the audience.
- Supervise and manage the box office and Customer Service team, including hiring, training, and resource management.
- Act as the primary contact for Customer Service issues, resolving them efficiently and effectively.
- Be an internal champion for the company’s CRM system ‘Tessitura’, and work collaboratively across many teams, as well as with key external stakeholders.
- Commitment towards delivering work to deadline with excellent skills in balancing attention to detail with broader strategic priorities.
