The Therapy Place (WA) PTY LTD is thrilled to announce our expansion into community outreach across the South West Region! As we extend our services, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Social Workers with accreditation in Mental Health to join our team.
About Us:
The Therapy Place (WA) PTY LTD is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of youth and families. Our newly launched Community Outreach Program aims to address the diverse challenges which prevent students' regular school attendance. We believe in providing tailored support opportunities to meet the unique needs of every individual.
The Role:
As a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in our Community Outreach Program. You will be responsible for aligning students with Mental Health challenges to the appropriate support services, offering them vital assistance at home or within the community. Your expertise in Mental Health will be instrumental in providing comprehensive care to youth and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the Mental Health needs of students and their families
- Developing personalised support plans tailored to individual needs
- Providing counselling and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborating with schools, community organisations, and other stakeholders
- Advocating for the Mental Health rights of youth and families
- Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to support plans
Requirements:
- Accreditation in Social Work
- Demonstrated experience working with youth and families
- Strong understanding of Mental Health issues and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid C class drivers licence and own transport
- National Police Clearance and Working with Childrens Check
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality
