Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.Position Profile:  We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Social Worker.

The Senior Social Worker provides a specialist social work, consultant and educational service to primary health care providers; provides clinical service to referred consumers and their families; acts as case manager to allocated clients; acts as a clinical resource for mental health team members; undertakes the co-ordination of allocated senior level projects.  The occupant of this position will be expected to comply with and demonstrate a positive commitment to the WACHS values and the highest achievement in demonstrating positive commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Occupational Safety & Health, Public Sector Standards, Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Quality Improvement, Performance Management, Customer Focus, Disability Services Act and Confidentiality throughout the course of their duties.
