Form of workAre you a Registered Nurse with Mental Health AOD, Community experience looking for your next adventure in the Northern Territory!? Here is the role for you. We have vacancies various locations throughout the region.
- $81.50 per hour day rate plus penalties for overtime, weekends, on call etc
- Short term agency contract. Minimum 4 weeks and up to 12 weeks available
- Fully furnished housing available
- Return travel provided
- $500 bonus if you complete a 12 week block

Working in this Northern Territory health facility you will help meet the needs and priorities of local communities to improve health outcomes in AOD.
During the week you will be working in Barkly communities and then the weekends based in Tennant Creek.

As a small regional centre, these facilities one would find in larger country towns like Katherine or Alice Springs however it does provide for all the basics that most people require, and several tourist attractions within easy reach like the beautiful Lake Mary Ann.
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Have current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant qualification and experience in Mental Health Nursing and in AOD
- Have current remote emergency management (REC) or equivalent emergency certificate
- Current recognised immunisation provider certificate
- Current COVID vaccination provider certificates for Pfizer and Paediatric vaccines
- Current maternity emergency management or midwifery upskill or commitment to completing this within your contract
- Current BLS
- Must be ISTAT competent, certified and have access number
