Your Role:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally appropriate assessment, treatment, and intensive case management for clients with moderate to severe Mental Health needs. Your role will focus on preventing acute care admissions and supporting clients transitioning from inpatient care to community-based support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct culturally appropriate comprehensive assessments and treatment for clients with Mental Health needs.
- Provide intensive case management and assertive outreach to meet clients' emerging Mental Health needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient, responsive, and integrated Mental Health services.
- Uphold client confidentiality and privacy rights.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
- Bachelor's degree qualification with appropriate AHPRA, AASW, or other relevant registration/membership.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in recovery-oriented Mental Health practices.
- Ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- High-level communication skills.
- Current C Class Driver's License (QLD) and Criminal History Check.
