- Is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence- based care that promotes positive health outcomes;
- Will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team;
- Will assist in the provision of supervision and support for less experienced clinicians and will maintain their professional accountability and development in accordance with the relevant Professional Competency Standards; and
- Align their professional conduct with those of the NSW Health CORE Values.

Mental Health Counsellor (Graduates Bachelor of Health Science
Mental Health, DJIRRUWANG Program).
- Demonstrated experience working in a Mental Health setting.
- Experience in the establishment, development or enhancement of links and partnerships between the Mental Health service, other government and health services, NGOs and the community sector with demonstrated benefits for consumers.
- Demonstrated ability of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Commitment to working in a recovery focus model of care - facilitating consumer involvement in the development of their own treatment/management plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
- Current unrestricted NSW driver's licence.
