About the role
An opportunity exists within the Adult Community Mental Health Services within Maroondah Continuing Care Team based at Murnong Clinic for passionate, enthusiastic & experienced Mental Health Clinicians with sound clinical knowledge and Mental Health experience.
The role will partner with consumers, carers, families and other service providers to provide high-quality case management and discipline-specific Mental Health assessment, treatment, consultation and community linkage services within a recovery-oriented framework. This position will be at our clinic in Ringwood East providing centre-based and outreach services.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
Qualifications and experience as specified in the position description, either as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with appropriate registration.
- Experience in community mental health practice, including case management and discipline-specific practices.
- Demonstrated work experience in Mental Health.
- Demonstrated ability to provide Mental Health assessments and interventions for consumers and their carers individually and/or in groups utilising a case management model.
- Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in Mental Health treatment and support with a focus on working collaboratively with consumers and carers to promote self-determination and enable progress towards reaching personal recovery goals.
- Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
- A strong commitment to high-quality care.
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Flexible and agile in responding to operational and clinical challenges and complexity, focusing on supporting consumers and their families/carers to address their goals in their recovery journey.
