Grand Pacific Health is a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation. We’re here to provide our local communities in NSW and the ACT with equitable, inclusive and integrated health care including physical health and Mental Health care services. We currently employ 340 people, provide services from 25 locations and are continuing to grow.
About the position
Grand Pacific Health’s Mental Health Direct service aims to provide professional and effective psychological support to individuals in need of Mental Health assistance.
The service offers evidence based psychological services for those aged 16 years and over who are experiencing anxiety, depression, general stress, interpersonal difficulties and adjustment issues. As an experienced clinician, you will provide fee-based, direct psychological support to those referred to our services.
The location of this role is flexible, with this able to based from our hubs in Wagga Wagga, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Shellharbour, Bega, Moruya, Wollongong, Tuggeranong or Canberra. This position is fixed-term, part-time (1-2 days per week) to 30 June 2025. An attractive incentive bonus will be available to clinicians working in this service with potential to increase hours based on consumer demand.
We are looking for someone with:
- Current full AHPRA registration as a clinical or registered psychologist, OTA accredited occupational therapist, or accreditation with the AASW as a Mental Health social worker
- Current or eligibility for registration as a Medicare Provider under the MBS
- Demonstrated Mental Health clinical experience in delivering Mental Health services with proven skills and experience in providing a range of holistic, recovery-oriented, evidence-based therapeutic services
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and consultation skills across arrange of contexts
