The opportunity: Applications are now open for the first full-time Mental Health Clinicians at the recently established Head to Health service in Ipswich. You’ll be joining a fresh, newly formed team, in a professional and positive environment. As one of our Mental Health Clinicians, you will work with the Senior Mental Health Clinician and Clinical Lead to provide individualised, evidenced-based psychological intervention to clients attending the service for short to medium term support. You will play a vital role in collaborative team meetings, fostering relationships with external stakeholders and working alongside other roles both internal to the service and within the community to provide holistic care. Support to access external professional development and clinical supervision. Competitive compensation to align with clinical skillset. On a day-to-day basis you will Conduct clinical assessments and develop case formulations and treatment plans for severe Mental Health difficulties.
Deliver individualized, evidence-based psychological interventions to consumers. Perform risk assessments and develop practical risk management plans. Provide client-centered care, incorporating family-inclusive practices within a multidisciplinary team.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards. About you: Are you a professional, innovative, and caring clinician who thrives as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and enjoys working with a wide range of external stakeholders involved in providing health, Mental Health, and psychosocial services? We’re also looking for: Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or other clinical discipline related to Mental Health.
Registration with the appropriate professional body such as AHPRA, AASW or OTA. Expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and providing evidence-based psychological treatments for Mental Health disorders. Extensive experience fostering Mental Health and well-being, delivering inclusive therapeutic services with a recovery and strengths-based focus.
