Join Sydney North Health Network as a Mental Health Commissioning and Training Specialist and be part of a team committed to improving Mental Health outcomes across local communities. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in empowering General Practitioners (GPs) with the skills and knowledge needed to elevate Mental Health care. Your responsibilities will include driving engagement among GPs, implementing innovative Mental Health initiatives, and collaborating with diverse healthcare providers to ensure seamless pathways to care. Key Responsibilities:
- Empower GPs with Mental Health assessment and referral procedures through training programs
- Drive engagement among GPs, specialists, hospitals, and allied health professionals in Mental Health initiatives
- Implement innovative strategies to enhance Mental Health care delivery and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with diverse healthcare providers to create integrated health solutions
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Mental Health programs and services
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong background in Mental Health initiatives and commissioning
- Proven ability to engage and train GPs effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
