About the role
This is an Opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse, to work in a clinic setting within the Immigration Detention Centre.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of clinical care pertaining to Mental Health care
- Initiates appropriate treatment and referral in emergency situations
- Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team
- Management of patients on Mental Health medications
- Administration of medications
- Conducting health promotional activities
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Mental Health Nursing
- Advanced clinical assessment, care planning and crisis management skills
- Current First Aid / BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Potentilaly Set days considered if needed;
