WorkPac Health and Social Care are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a strong Mental Health background staff to work an ongoing casual contract within a correctional centre in Adelaide. This role will be a day shift position.
Job role:
You will be an integral member of an experienced multi-disciplinary health care team providing a range of high-quality evidence-based Mental Health services to patients. You will undertake intake assessments, risk assessments, crisis intervention, case formulation, and medication management, as well as extra support services as required. Additionally, your management of crisis presentations, risk assessment and risk management planning will be supported within a multi-disciplinary team.
About you:
- Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years full time post graduate experience in Australia as an RN
- Strong Mental Health background
- Experience in Primary Health, Rural Health or Emergency Nursing (desirable)
- Corrections experience advantageous
- Venipuncture and cannulation experience preferred
- Current First Aid and BLS Certification (ALS preferred) (12 month validity)
- National Criminal History Check (issued within last 3 months)
- COVID Vaccination Evidence (Minimum 2 doses)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
