What You Will Be Doing
- Provide professional leadership to the Older Persons cluster
- Provide strategic direction to the Older Persons Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in accordance with the Peninsula Health Mental Health & Wellbeing Service Business Plan, Service Agreement, Statement of Priorities and Strategic Plan
- Support and develop skilled, capable and valued teams who focus on providing high quality recovery oriented care
- Manage the planning, development and implementation of the Mental Health service initiatives in line with the Peninsula Health Strategic Plan
- Lead quality activities across the Older Persons Mental Health and Wellbeing Services including preparation for accreditation
We anticipate you will have:
- Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
- Post Graduate qualification in Mental Health or similar
- Extensive clinical experience in the management and provision of Older Persons Mental Health services.
- Experience in the management of human and financial resources at a senior level
- Experience in strategic and operational planning
- Proven ability to meet strategic, operational and budget objectives
- Advanced leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead in complex environments
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Post Graduate qualification in Health Management, Management or similar (Desirable)

Agreement 2021 - 2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
