What You Will Be Doing

• Provide professional leadership to the Older Persons cluster
• Provide strategic direction to the Older PersonsMental Health and Wellbeing Service in accordance with the Peninsula Health Mental Health & Wellbeing Service Business Plan, Service Agreement, Statement of Priorities and Strategic Plan
• Support and develop skilled, capable and valued teams who focus on providing high quality recovery oriented care
• Manage the planning, development and implementation of the Mental Health service initiatives in line with the Peninsula Health Strategic Plan
• Lead quality activities across the Older PersonsMental Health and Wellbeing Services including preparation for accreditation

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
• Post Graduate qualification in Mental Health or similar
• Extensive clinical experience in the management and provision of Older PersonsMental Health services.
• Experience in the management of human and financial resources at a senior level
• Experience in strategic and operational planning
• Proven ability to meet strategic, operational and budget objectives
• Advanced leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead in complex environments
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Post Graduate qualification in Health Management, Management or similar (Desirable)

*Please refer to Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise
Agreement 2021 - 2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.

This role must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and meet the requirements of the Peninsula Health immunisation policy.
