You will be working with one of the largest Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory and is situated on the north coast of Arnhem Land, about 500km east of Darwin.
Although quite a remote community, it has basic services and facilities, including a health clinic, school, and various community services. You will be close to beautiful scenery, including rivers, coastal areas, and nearby national parks.

Key Responsibilities
- Work within the Mental Health Program in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality prevention and treatment
- Provide culturally safe, competent and comprehensive care
- Build relationships with local communities to understand and address Mental Health needs
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, social services, and other relevant agencies to ensure comprehensive care
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Current Remote Emergency Care certificate and/or Advance Life Support certificate
- Current accredited Immunisation Provider certificate (recognised in the NT)
- Remote Pharmacotherapeutic Certificate (or equivalent)
- Manual Driver’s License
- At least (5) years of broad nursing experience post registration and 3 years working in a primary health related field in a remote context, with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently and participate in emergency calls and First Response)
