Position Overview: We're currently seeking dynamic professionals, particularly aged 21 and above, to join our team as Recovery Coaches. This pivotal role involves providing specialised support, expert consultations, and interventions to individuals with complex Mental Health needs. As a vital member of our team, you'll contribute to the overall well-being of our clients, aligning services with their NDIS plans. This position is part of a successful and expanding Allied Health service operating in Victoria.

Mental Health and Wellness Therapeutic Space: At INSIGHT, we understand the importance of holistic well-being, which is why we provide a dedicated Mental Health and wellness therapeutic space. This space is designed to support the overall mind and gut connection, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional healing. Our therapeutic space offers various amenities and activities aimed at enhancing mental and emotional wellness, including mindfulness sessions, aromatherapy, relaxation exercises, and access to nutritious snacks to support gut health.
Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates are expected to meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences or relevant work experience in the field
- Previous experience working with individuals with Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, and other complex diagnoses
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and report writing skills
- Ability to align services with a client's NDIS goals and funding allocation
- Possession of a current driver's license and a reliable, comprehensively insured car
- Highly developed professional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling engagement with CALD families and NDIS providers
- Capability to complete reports and work towards goals within NDIS plans
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, honest, and productive relationships
- A robust background in disabilities/Mental Health (highly regarded)
- Proven computer skills, including CRM, email, and internet access, with a willingness to learn a data collection system
- Ability to contribute to program development and evaluation
- Capacity to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
The pay rate is dependent on qualifications and experience.
