Flourish Australia has multiple exciting opportunities for Mental Health Workers and Peer Workersto join our dedicated Queanbeyan team!

The positions available are:

• Ongoing Full time (76 hours/fortnight)
• Based at Queanbeyan
• Working a rotating roster
• Attractive hourly rates equivalent to SCHCADS Level 3 $36-$38.60/hour + 11% Super + Tax-Free Salary Packaging!

As a Mental Health Worker or Peer Worker with Flourish Australia, you will support people accessing our services who have a lived experience of Mental Health issues to achieve their hopes and dreams. You will play an important part in assisting people to maintain wellness and realise their goals.

On a day to day basis, you will:

• Connect with, support, build reciprocity, trust and shared experience with people who access our services.
• Guide and support each person in their recovery and be strengths, ability and possibility focused.
• Ensure that individual support is provided to a person that accesses Flourish Australia services that meet their recovery journey goals and is strengths based and led by the person wherever possible.
• Encourage shared learning experiences, and support skill development at every opportunity through self-directed learning, information and education.

Peer work is a cornerstone of our services with more than half of our workforce having had a lived experience of a Mental Health issue. • Level 3 (SCHCADS) on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018)

• A Certificate IV or above in a relevant field OR a minimum of 2-years full-time experience working in the human services field (as recognised by Flourish Australia).
• A personal lived experience of a Mental Health issue.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
