AddressDowner Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is proud to deliver the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP). We are now seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic MEP Engineer’s to join our Built Form team.
We have two roles available, both reporting to the Project Manager Specialist Equipment. The role of the MEP Engineer is to coordinate the engineering and communications processes and assist in the management of the successful installation of building services equipment at the Manufacturing and Maintenance facilities. You will monitor and collaborate with services subcontractors throughout the life of the project and play a key role in the procurement, engineering analysis, verification, installation, commissioning, certification, and handover processes.

- Vertical Transportation
About Our Project:
QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland’s history. It includes the design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of manufacturing facilities and depots and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain – a true legacy to be created for Queensland that you can be a part of!
About You:
- 5+ years relevant experience within construction (civil infrastructure highly desired)
- Relevant degree/tertiary qualification in suitable Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Potential to gain Membership with Engineers Australia or RPEQ
- Sound understanding of design principles and commercial acumen
- Ability to solve complex problems in a time-sensitive environment
