The Role
Working closely with your Buyer and Allocator to drive the success of your business, as a Planner at B&L, you are involved with all aspects of the business – from the strategic vision of your department to where stock is finally allocated. We work as a Team to drive outcomes and collaborate cross-functionally across Marketing, Visual Merchandise, and Store Operations.
A background of managing a large number of SKUs and multi-departments would be an advantage.
Areas of Responsibility
- Participate in the development of the seasonal merchandise strategy and presentation to CEO.
- Manage OTB and Inventory.
- Coach and mentor Allocators.
- Analyse the performance of a portfolio to drive improvement.
- Drive financial targets – sales, gross profit, stock turn, GMROI, aged stock.
- Contribute positively in a fast-paced environment.
Who you are
- 2-3 years of experience in a seasonal business.
- Experience working in apparel.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally.
- Strong attention to detail, analytics, and an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to problem-solve creatively and contribute positively in a fast-paced, high-volume business.
