We are looking for an experienced Merchandise Planner who will be responsible for all aspects of implementing and managing Stock, OTB, Strategic and Seasonal Planning and reporting analysis.
Responsibilities include:
Budgeting and Strategic Recommendations
- Planning and development of Merchandise strategies in conjunction with the team.
- Post-Seasonal Reviews.
- Budget development of all KPIs in line with agreed financial targets.
- Lead and manage the forecast review process in collaboration with the buying team to identify opportunities and risks and put plans in place to deliver budget outcomes.
- Product analysis to identify sales growth opportunities/risks in the business.
- Weekly tracking of KPIs to compare with budget, forecast and prior year.
Stock Management
- OTB Implementation and Management.
- Determine, review and maintain optimum stock levels within our Warehouse.
- Analyse trends to ensure accurate forecasts to suppliers.
- Manage and maintain in-stocks of Core lines.
- Develop a framework to ensure the buy reflects strategic intent and delivery of budget expectations.
- Manage all markdowns and recommendations to clear stock.
- Manage Aged stock within agreed benchmarks.
Project Management
- Guide the implementation of an analytics and planning tool.
- Manage the delivery of robust and consistent reporting to meet the changing needs of the business.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated 3+ Years’ experience in Merchandise Planning
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to manage an OTB & Forecasts.
- Ability to understand data and analytics and make recommendations as a result.
- Proven ability to drive inventory improvements.
- Proven experience in Project Management.
