At Clark Rubber, we are seeking an Inventory Optimisation Guru to join our dynamic Merchandise team. In this crucial role, you'll be the driving force behind our inventory strategy, developing robust tools and processes to maximise sales, profitability, and operational efficiency across our franchise network.
What You'll Do
- Manage inventory KPIs like stock turns, aged stock, clearance, and seasonal sell-through
- Analyse sales data to identify patterns and forecast future demand
- Plan and forecast purchase quantities for seasonal and direct import programs
- Implement min/max replenishment triggers to streamline ERP processes
- Evaluate slow-moving and aged stock, recommending strategies to improve stock health
- Collaborate with vendors on forecasting to minimise out-of-stocks
- Manage new product launches alongside the Category Manager
- Develop budgeting and forecasting tools, including supplier rebate plans
- Support the category team through range reviews and direct sourcing
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or related field
- 5+ years of merchandise management or product planning experience
- Strong understanding of import, DTS, Cross-Dock and DC replenishment
- Proven expertise in inventory planning, forecasting and data analysis
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Keen business acumen and financial skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
