Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams to create and execute innovative merchandise plans that resonate with the audience.
- Analyze sales data, consumer insights, and industry trends to develop accurate demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and maximizing sales potential.
- Work closely with the buying team to curate a captivating assortment of products that align with our brand vision, customer preferences, and emerging market trends.
- Implement pricing strategies that strike the perfect balance between profitability and competitive positioning.
- Continuously monitor product performance, conducting in-depth analysis and providing actionable recommendations to drive sales and optimize profitability.
- Stay ahead of the fashion curve by keeping a pulse on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour, allowing them to remain at the forefront of the industry.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring timely product deliveries.
Requirements:
- 3- 5 years of experience in merchandise planning, preferably within the womenswear and/or childrenswear categories.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing merchandise strategies that drive sales growth and profitability.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to transform data into meaningful insights and actionable plans.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, fashion trends, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in merchandise planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for style, with a deep understanding of our target market.
