ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Rural Merchandise Sales Specialist to join our Gnowangerup team. In this role, you will be focussed on providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our valued customers by assisting them with their ag input requirements both in branch and on-farm.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Contribute to the business by building strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities and developing new business.
• Processing counter sales and orders.
• Preparing and delivering products on-farm.
• Dedicated to developing and regularly updating product knowledge.
• Maintaining safety and compliance processes.
• Participation in regular stock taking to assist in stock control and procurement.
• Ensuring the safe, clean and professional presentation of the store and yards.

ABOUT YOU

To excel as our Merchandise Sales Specialist you will:  

• Have a proven track record in sales and some experience working in a retail environment.
• An understanding of agricultural services and products.
• Enjoy working in regional WA.
• Strive to become a valued member of the local community.
• Are comfortable and thrive in a collaborative and agile working environment.
• Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with clients.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a sales role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical organisational and problem solving experience.
• A working knowledge of agricultural products and practices.
• An HR truck and forklift licence
