Tasks & responsibilities
As a Metal Fabricator you will be required to:
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using a variety of tools and techniques
- Welding/fabricating components together to create finished products
- Performing quality control checks to ensure finished products meet customer specifications
- Collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications & experience
We are looking for people that are energetic, organised, punctual and willing to learn new skills but the following items would be required for the successful candidate:
- Any sheet metal or Boiler making trade qualifications
- Or associated qualifications
- TIG and MIG experience is a must
4 day work week
XINC is aiming to achieve a 4 day work week (4x 10 hour days) in the near future. To achieve this plan we will need our factory staff to keep up with production can stay constant.
We will also need to add and additional leading hand to the factory team to manage extra workflow so a possible promotion is on offer to the right candidate.
We estimate we could achieve this goal in mid to late 2024 with the right team members.
