About the Role: A leading HVAC ducting fabricator company in South Windsor is looking for an experienced 1st Class Sheet Metal Fabricator. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality fabrication projects and to provide guidance and mentorship to junior fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate HVAC ducting and related components to high standards.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards and specifications.
- Mentor and guide less experienced fabricators to enhance their skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to workplace safety protocols.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar environment.
- Relevant Cert 3 qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication or related field.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in HVAC ducting fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
