Skills Needed For The Job
- Interpreting plans and specifications;
- Substantial knowledge of stainless steel and brass fabrication;
- Welding (TIG/MIG) and assembly;
- Cutting and shaping materials;
- Familiarity with power and hand tools;
- Selecting and preparing materials;
- Assembling metalwork machinery such as flame cutters, rollers, brakes, drill presses, and shears;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Decision-making skills.
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade with at least 2 years of training;
- Certificate IV in a related field in lieu of training;
- At least 3 years of prior experience.
- Must understand and communicate in English.
